Twenty-five tiles. Three hidden mines.
- Choose 10, 20, 50 or 100 simulated FORTY and Start a round. The FORTY units are taken once. Three different mines are chosen uniformly from 25 tiles and saved.
- Open one tile at a time. A safe tile shows an amber crystal. After at least one safe tile, Collect ends the round with the displayed total return.
- A mine returns zero. Finding all 22 safe tiles automatically settles only that accepted round. A new round never starts automatically.
There are no hints, adjacent-mine counts or bonus tiles. All unopened tiles have the same risk. After k safe tiles the next is safe with probability (22−k)/(25−k). The first is 22/25 (88%). Your balance and past results never change a layout.

For k safe tiles, total return is floor(FORTY played × 24/25 × C(25,3)/C(25−k,3)). It includes original FORTY. Fractions are rounded down once at collection, with no intermediate rounding. One safe tile at 10 FORTY returns 10, net 0. An offer is available only if you choose Collect before a mine.

There are C(25,3)=2,300 equally likely layouts. For any fixed stopping count, average total return is at most 96% after whole-unit rounding. This is a calculation across all layouts, not a session guarantee or a fairness audit. These simulated FORTY have no cash value.
Your board stays yours.
Check board or reload reads the same saved layout and choices, without opening a tile, collecting or taking FORTY again. After an unclear response, use Check board before another action. Unopened mine positions stay hidden on the server until the round ends. Then all tiles are revealed; bright outlines identify your choices. Your last ten completed rounds show chosen tiles, mine positions, total return and net.
End new rounds blocks future starts for this browser session. An already accepted board can still be finished with Open or Collect. It does not refund, erase, refill or automatically finish the round. Keep the essential game cookie to recover your session; clearing it may lose access.
